Town Pastor Prayer Support

Praying at our operation base

Prayer Base volunteers are present at our base in Great Colman Street for the duration of the session, which can vary. We try to have two people present, but sometimes only one person is available.

Praying for the team
Prayer Team members are prayerfully caring for Pastors both as they go out and as they patrol the streets, responding to requests for prayer from Pastors. They will also pick up communications from the TownLink radio

Home prayers will phone in to ask if there are any issues for prayer.

Refreshments
Pastors get hungry, and really appreciate some toast and a cuppa as they come in for a break from time to time. One Prayer Team member is designated to bring bread and milk.
So, if you
● care about people out in Town late on a weekend night
● have a heart for Ipswich
● love to pray
● can make toast
then we’d love to hear from you.

Praying at home

We are grateful to God for our home prayer supporters who give up an hour between 10 pm and 4 am to prayer for Town Pastors on duty. We have a rota and you can offer what you feel able to do.

Supporters can phone the Prayer Base to find out what’s going on in town so that they have some direction for prayer (We won’t phone you back unless you ask, as we are aware that others in your house may be asleep).

You may be someone who does wake up in the night for whatever reason, and an hour spent in prayer may be something you might consider offering.

If you feel you can offer prayer time in our base or at home then we’d love to hear from you.
